MUsEO TExtil dE OaxaCa

In the heart of the historic center of the city of Oaxaca, in an 18th century house restored in 2007, the Textile Museum of Oaxaca (MTO) is housed. This innovative space was created in order to promote a meeting point between people, traditions, design, and contemporary art.

Since its creation, the MTO has set for itself the mission of offering a broad vision of the designs, techniques, and creative processes for the production of textiles in Oaxaca, from Mexico, and the world, through the permanent exchange of specialized knowledge via conferences, workshops, and exhibitions.
